Listen. I know it’s been a while. It wasn’t you. It was me. Honest. But look, I’m back now… Let’s start afresh. Let’s leap through meadows of joy and daffodils, eat breaded lobster balls, and drink Chardonnay on the embankment, whilst I fill you in on what’s happened.
For those of you that don’t follow me on twitter, this could get prreeeettttyyyy interesting. For those of you who do… meh. Keep reading or return to your newsfeed… Either way, I’ve already got the hits for this post (booyah).
Firstly, let’s look at academic life here at Salford. So far I have submitted 5 pieces of coursework, scoring 1st class in each (baring the latest, which I won’t know the grade of for a few more weeks): SCORE! I’ve also sat my French Oral exam in which I score 65 (wasn’t impressed), and had a French Translation exam on Monday evening (YEY!).
Moving onto social activities… No, I’m not promiscuous. But I do have my eye on a certain someone 😉 There’s been numerous social events, including 4 weeks of one housemate and I not talking, then leaping into one another’s’ arms promising NEVER to be so stubborn again (not happening, but the thought was there…)
There’s big plans and things underfoot, mostly for the coming year. A new job, some scripts to write, and various other minute things to consider 🙂
I’ll finish with a simple Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. For those of you that observe Christmas as a religious occasion (such as I do), may the Lord bless you and your families and your coming year be bountiful. For those that do not, fair dos, and may your coming year be prosperous.
